GTA 6: Strip Clubs, Extreme Weather, and 170 Animals Revealed by Rockstar
Rockstar Games isn't holding back on recreating its fictional state of Leonida. According to art director Aaron Garbut, Florida is America dialed up to 11, making it the ideal setting for Grand Theft Auto. To catch the real vibe of the state, developers went straight to the source, spending late nights in local strip clubs and riding along with police officers on night patrols.
All that field work translates into incredible world design. GTA 6 will feature a highly advanced weather system based on Florida's unpredictable tropical storms. While full-blown hurricanes are still wrapped in mystery, the map will feature a massive ecosystem with around 170 different animal species roaming the land and water.
To help you get around this vast environment without hassle, Rockstar is bringing in a fast travel mechanic. Combine that with dynamic weather and a teeming wildlife population, and you get the ultimate recipe for open-world madness.
