By dissecting the 2022 leaks and official trailers, fans have assembled a comprehensive height map of the state of Leonida. Some modders took things even further. They managed to recreate GTA 6's layout inside the GTA 5 engine using leaked assets. You can actually drive around a fan-made version of Vice City before the game launches in November 2026. However, this deep dive also unveils cut content. According to community mapper Lezzyl, the region based on Key West was removed from the final build. Rockstar likely trimmed down the southernmost islands to focus on dense urban environments and swamps.
