GTA 6 Takes Over Real-Life Miami: Parody Ads and Live-Action Trailer Rumors

22 October 2026
Rockstar is kicking its GTA 6 marketing campaign into high gear. In Miami, the line between video games and reality is blurring as digital kiosks in the Wynwood area display crude parody ads for in-game brands like Pfister and Weazel News. The studio's trademark satire is officially out on the streets. On top of that, reports of local filming have sparked intense speculation about a live-action trailer. It wouldn't be unprecedented: back in 1999, Rockstar created a iconic live-action short film for GTA 2. Bringing that strategy back would be a brilliant power move ahead of release. Meanwhile, rumors of a PC release pushed to 2027 continue to circulate, keeping console players first in line for the November 19, 2026 launch. One thing is certain: Vice City is already taking over the real world.
