GTA 6 Cloud Streaming: Microsoft Lands Deal for Xbox

Microsoft just made waves across the gaming industry. Reports indicate the tech giant secured an exclusivity deal for GTA 6 cloud streaming on Xbox consoles. It is a massive move for Microsoft's ecosystem ahead of the game's release. However, don't celebrate too early if you are strictly a PC gamer. While initial rumors suggested the title might stream to PC and other screens on day one, later updates clarified that GTA 6 will not stream to PC through Xbox Cloud. Rockstar remains fully focused on its console-first strategy for the November 19, 2026 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series. If you were hoping to bypass buying a console to play on PC via the cloud, you will have to wait longer.
