Leonida's mystery tower: what fans think they've found
All it takes is a silhouette at the back of a shot to send an entire community digging. Since the trailers dropped, fans have been tracking a tower spotted in Leonida's skyline, frame by frame, competing over what it is and what it's for.
What that kind of detective work is actually worth: in previous GTAs, fans were right about geography far more often than you'd think — and almost always wrong about meaning. Spotting a building is easy. Guessing what you'll do there is fiction.
Why it's still interesting: these hunts say something about the obsessive care Rockstar puts into its sets. When a building stands out on the horizon, it's nearly always a deliberate landmark — a compass point so you can orient yourself without staring at the GPS.
Our reasonable bet: the tower will be a major city landmark, possibly enterable. The rest — secret mission, easter egg, hidden ending — is, for now, collective fantasy. And that's fine: the wait is part of the fun.
