GTA 6 reportedly won't be dubbed in French, per the Xbox Store

Bad news for players hoping to hear GTA 6 in their own language: according to details on the Xbox Store, the game reportedly won't ship with a French dub — nor, by the same logic, dubs in most other languages. It's no shock. Rockstar has never dubbed its games — not GTA V, not Red Dead Redemption 2. The studio keeps the original English voices, in the name of the acting: the performance capture is built around one language, and a dub would betray it. Still, no dub doesn't mean no translation. French subtitles will be there, as always. You'll follow the story fine — you'll just have to read. Take it with a pinch of salt: nothing is official until Rockstar speaks. This comes from a store listing, not an announcement. But given the studio's habits, no dub would be the logical continuation.
