GTA 6: Miami Sheriff Blocks Plan to Turn the City Into Vice City!
Rockstar Games is pulling out all the stops for the launch of GTA 6. The publisher reportedly wanted to temporarily rebrand the actual city of Miami into a real-life Vice City. However, the local sheriff shut the initiative down. Florida law enforcement wasn't too keen on tying their metropolis to virtual chaos.
This pushback highlights the sheer scale of the global promotional blitz taking shape. While GTA Online receives major updates to fuel the hype train, GTA 6 madness is taking over worldwide. Display cases for the game have already been spotted inside retail shops in Japan.
From hype on Japanese store shelves to official hurdles in Florida, Rockstar's hype machine is operating at maximum intensity. Mark your calendars for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series.
