GTA 6: The "Extended Look" Blows Minds and Sparks Debate
Rockstar Games just dropped their "An Extended Look" video on YouTube, and it is sending shockwaves across the gaming industry. Tech experts at Digital Foundry are calling it perhaps the most impressive showcase of real-time rendering ever seen in video games.
Forget feeling like you're just driving through a fake virtual map. IGN reports that Vice City now feels like an actual living place rather than a traditional video game sandbox. The level of environmental detail, crowd density, and physics pushes realism further than anything currently on PS5 and Xbox Series.
However, this extreme focus on realism is already sparking debate among fans. While everyone agrees the visuals are mind-blowing ahead of the November 19, 2026 release, some players worry the game might lean too hard into simulation at the expense of GTA 5's arcade fun. One thing is certain: Rockstar is redefining open-world standards once again.
